Tanzi Cannon, Principal and Chief Counsel at General Counsel by Cannon is also a small craft brewery owner and a hospitality industry alumnus. In a show of support and love for the health and growth of the craft industry, Cannon launched “Craft Industry Practitioners” which is a division of Counsel by Cannon that specializes in advising craft beer companies, craft wineries, distilleries and other craft industry companies on general business, labor and employment and human resources law from a perspective of the craft industry. Additionally, Cannon can conduct business consultations on operations specific to the industry such as lean manufacturing, food safety, OSHA inspections, licensing and permitting, customer service and more. Further, the Craft Industry Practitioners team has extensive experience working in and managing staff in the hospitality industry and can work with breweries, distilleries, wineries, and other hospitality businesses to create a plan to support the legal and operational needs of the company for a reasonable price.
